Are spices certified organic?

Yes! 99% of our offerings are certified organic. Not only that, they are ethically and sustainably harvested. And, most importantly, they are super fresh and the best quality you can buy.

There are a few spices that we have not been able to source with an organic certification (like my favorite, Turkish urfa biber!). If a spice is not organic, it is noted on the specific product pages. And a few others are grown organically, but do not have a certification. Each product page will list the details.

Empty set, pre-filled set, or one with a gift card?

Pre-filled sets are great if you know what they cook (or snack) with—they open the box and it's ready to use. Empty sets work for someone who already has flavors they love or wants to fill their own. Gift card sets (like our Starter Gift Bundle) come with empty jars plus a gift card so the recipient picks their own—perfect when you're not sure what they'd want.

What if I'm not sure what they'd like?

A few options: our Starter Gift Bundle comes with empty jars plus a gift card for refills, so the recipient picks their own flavors. Or go with a crowd-pleaser set—the Basic Spice Set and Beyond Basics work for most home cooks, our popcorn samplers are a hit with snackers, and our sprinkles sets delight bakers.

What if the recipient already has spices they love?

Our magnetic jars are designed to be refilled and reused, so even if they already have a spice rack going, this gives them a beautiful upgrade. They can swap out any spice for one of our 300+ organic refills anytime — or use the jars for their own bulk-section finds.
