Small jars: No! A standard round tablespoon will not fit in our small jars. Use these rectangular measuring spoons which fit perfectly.

Large jars: Yes! We have yet to meet a measuring spoon that can't fit into the mouth of the larger jars.

Do I need any of these accessories to use the magnetic spice jars?

No — the jars work great on their own on any magnetic surface like your fridge. But accessories like wall plates (for non-magnetic walls), spice labels, and measuring spoons sized to fit the jar mouths can make the system even more functional.
