To keep spices fresh, you should never shake jars directly over steaming food. The humidity gets trapped inside and degrades the flavor of your spices. It can also cause spices to clump. A spice spoon is essential for "shaking" spices and keeping your spices dry, but it can be hard to keep track of these little spoons.
The magnetic spoon holders make your spoon easily accessible mid-recipe so you won't be tempted to start shaking your jars while cooking. My spoon holder is stuck to my range hood right where I need it most, and I genuinely reach for it every time I cook.
It's a small tool, but it solves a problem every home cook eventually runs into: spoons disappearing into drawers or getting buried on the counter mid-recipe.
Give this essential tool as a gift and help folks keep their spices flavorful!
P.S. They also fit a Bic lighter. TikTok asked!
