    12 refills of your choosing, hand-packed to order in compostable packaging. Small refills hold a scant 1/4 cup (about 3.5 tbsp); large refills hold 1/2 cup (8 tbsp, roughly the size of a standard grocery store container). All 12 refills in the bundle are the same size.

    Can I compost the Buy 12 Refills packaging?

    Yes. Refill packaging and sealing labels are 100% home-compostable. Just keep in mind the packaging isn't meant for long-term storage; transfer spices into airtight jars when they arrive. If you can't compost, leave a note at checkout and we'll substitute curbside-recyclable paper pouches.

    Are spices certified organic?

    Yes! 99% of our offerings are certified organic. Not only that, they are ethically and sustainably harvested. And, most importantly, they are super fresh and the best quality you can buy.

    There are a few spices that we have not been able to source with an organic certification (like my favorite, Turkish urfa biber!). If a spice is not organic, it is noted on the specific product pages. And a few others are grown organically, but do not have a certification. Each product page will list the details.
