Small 4-ounce bottles are for decanting your extract when finished and gifting. 8-ounce bottles you can keep for yourself! We don't recommend making vanilla extract in quantities less than 1 cup. 

If you are making a half-gallon of extract from our 188g vanilla packs, you'll need 16 four-ounce bottles or 8 eight-ounce bottles.
